Headlines have been hot recently with Mr Frank wanting to get the internet gambling bill removed from the port security bill. Quotes as saying it was the stupiest bill ever passed. So how did it pass in the first place? Well it was put into the port security bill in the last minutes and many senators did not even know it had been attached. This was very sneaky and not what the public wanted. In WTO courts antigua filed a suit against the US for stopping free trade and not allowing online gambling, in which the WTO courts ruled in Antigua’s favor. The US has yet to comply with the ruling. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out in the months to come.
